I've been looking for this one Indian movie with an apathetic, unfeeling girl. Her mother dies in a car crash, and when it happens, she just gets up and leaves; she doesn't even spare a glance at her mother. Later on, when she's grown up, she has difficulty speaking, I guess? I remember her making some whining noises? I think her name started with an 'A' or so. She was fair with long, dark hair that I think she wore in a braid.
According to my memory, when the car crashed, there was glass everywhere, her mother was unconscious, and she just opened the car door and left the car. This is when she's a kid, by the way. I also remember a scene of her being grown up and not really being able to speak. She would make sounds of frustration or distress and such, but I don't remember her ever actually talking.
