Is Super.com legit?
Trying to find nice but cheap accommodation for my wife and I. Usually we'd book on something like Expedia, Hotels.com, or similar, but one of my searches yesterday came up with a handful of results through SuperTravel (super.com), and I've never heard of them. A quick look at their BBB profile seems to indicate they're legit, but I also don't want to be handing over hundreds of dollars to find I've got no booking at all.
Currently leaning towards booking elsewhere, unless there is evidence that SuperTravel is worth using.
Top Answer/Comment:
Yes, it's perfectly legit
I've now stayed four times in different hotels around the US, booked via Super.com, including a stay in SF this past weekend and an international stay in Buenos Aires this week. Everything went completely fine, no different from if I had booked via Booking.com.
Their UI can be a bit obnoxious at times and pushes you towards various unnecessary add-on services, but you can safely ignore these and get the hotel room for the stated price.
Obligatory disclaimer: I am not affiliated with Super.com in any way.
